Oliver Stinkwell
“Oliver Stinkwell” is an original work crafted by longtime friends, Nancy Canfield, author, and Carla Kiernan, illustrator. The duo came up with the idea for the book itself while observing young nieces and nephews at family functions. Nancy and Carla decided to keep themselves busy during the long Maine winter months by creating a children’s book, “Oliver Stinkwell". Through its exciting story and eye-catching illustrations, the book delivers an engaging tale as well as a moral message. This, the first book of the series, follows Oliver as he attempts to return to his home after having been swept away by a large storm. Oliver meets many distinct characters during this journey, including Walter the whale, Millie the mussel, and Camille the seal and is sure to meet many more in upcoming books.
The book itself is printed in the U.S.A. on paper certified by the Forest Stewardship Council as having originated from mixed sources derived from well managed forests as well as recycled wood or fiber.
