Carla Abbott Kiernan

Carla Abbott Kiernan is a woman who considers herself to have been blessed to have live her life in Cape Neddick, Maine; a small seacoast community that has given her infinite inspiration. From an early age she has been passionate about her creativity in various mediums.

At the age of forty, Carla was stricken by a permanent, life-altering medical condition which left her unable to continue on in a “traditional” work atmosphere. Since that time, she has diligently focused on her family and her art. Currently, her artwork consists of watercolor paintings that cover a broad array of subjects.

Ms. Kiernan’s skill and resulting pieces come not as a result of any formal training, but rather from her love of life, nature and the artistic process itself.
